The expertise of our management team is complemented by the drive and resourcefulness of its management and multi-disciplinary team and the passion of its commitment to socially responsible mineral development for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Management

Osvaldo Arce-Burgoa, Vice President of Exploration is a professional geological and mineral processing engineer with 30 years’ experience in Bolivia. He holds a PhD in Geological Engineering from the Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the San Andrés University, Bolivia. He is a former National Director of the Bolivian Geological Survey, Main Technical Advisor of the National Mining Corporation (COMIBOL), Exploration Manager and Chief Geologist in various mining and exploration companies. He is also the current President of the College on Geologists of Bolivia.  Dr. Arce has identified various world class orogenic and polymetallic deposits within the Cordillera region that are available for development.

Alan McCulloch, Managing Director, has worked for over 30 years, as a consultant, manager, and entrepreneur in the agriculture and resource sectors of developing countries, including in West Africa, South Asia, Latin America as well as in Canada. Having trained as a researcher at one of the top consulting firms in the international fertilizer industry, he went on to work for private equity firms active in project development in Costa Rica and Colombia. Supporting their due diligence efforts, he then took on an executive role overseeing the local management of agribusiness and real estate ventures worth some $25 million in North American direct investment.

Todd Fortin, President & CEO, is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology majoring in Investment & Marketing Management, Business Development and ICI Real Estate Management. He is also a graduate of the Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Management Course from the Accountability Institute of BC. His successful career spans 25 years in ICI real estate, business development, and operations management as well as corporate finance and governance.

Clayton Hofer, Safety & Operations Manager, has worked over the past twenty years in the Oil and Gas industry in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, South-China Sea, and Alberta, Canada. Much of his wealth of knowledge as a drill rig supervisor is readily transferable to mineral resource exploration including rig assessment, operations, safety training and implementation for which he is duly certified. Clayton also serves as advisor to Catch Resource, an Alberta-based oil and gas producer as their Operations, Drilling and Completions specialist, providing valuable input for sourcing and negotiating with service providers as well as liaising with their field personnel for troubleshooting well repair operations and overseeing drill programs.
